Frank Barbarino
Organization: Arctaris Impact Investors


Frank joined Arctaris Impact in 2023 as Co-Head of Sales. He has 25 years of experience in the asset management industry as a business development professional and capital allocator to alternative investment strategies. He was most recently a senior executive with two fintech startups. Prior to this, Frank was a Senior Investment Officer with the $250 billion New York City Retirement Systems pension plans, a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, a Principal and Investment Strategist at The Carlyle Group, and a Senior Research Consultant at NEPC. Frank received an M.B.A with a concentration in Finance from the University of Rochester, Simon Business School and earned a B.A. with double majors in Economics and Music from Union College. He holds the CFA Certification in ESG Investing, is a SASB Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) credential holder, and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designee. He sits on the investment committee of Urban Edge, a Boston-based affordable housing non-profit.


Nora Pickens
Organization: Mill Creek Capital Advisors


Nora serves as a Principal at Mill Creek Capital Advisors, LLC, where she is primarily responsible for evaluating traditional fixed income and private debt strategies across MCCA’s investment programs. Nora also serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining MCCA in 2017, Nora was Director at FS Investments, where she helped launch focused investment programs and conducted investment research. Prior to FS, Nora was a Credit Analyst at Standard & Poor’s with primary research coverage of the energy sector. She previously held various analyst positions at Bear Stearns and Goldman Sachs. Nora earned her Bachelor of Arts in business economics from Brown University and received an MBA from the Yale School of Management. She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. Additionally, Nora serves as a member of the Board of Directors at CAIA Pennsylvania.


Tina Suo
Organization: Office of the New York City Comptroller


Tina Suo is the Head of Alternative Credit and oversees the alternative credit portfolio for the five New York City Retirement Systems. She is responsible for portfolio construction, manager selection, and portfolio management of the $13 billion and growing alternative credit allocation for the pension funds. Ms. Suo has 19 years of investment experience in rates and credit, through both direct and external management. Before joining the New York City pension funds, Ms. Suo served as Senior Director of Fixed Income Investments at New York Life Investment Management. Previously, Ms. Suo also held roles in trading, portfolio management, and risk management at sell-side and buy-side firms. Ms. Suo received her M.B.A. degree from London Business School and B.S. degree in Information and Decision Sciences from University of Science and Technology of China.


Jonathan Tower
Organization: Arctaris Impact Investors


As the Managing Partner of Arctaris Impact Investors, Jonathan invests in growth-oriented businesses in the manufacturing, technology, and services industries with heavy emphasis on job creation and economic revitalization in federally designated Opportunity Zones. Jonathan co-founded Arctaris in 2009 and manages seven impact investment funds, including the Arctaris Opportunity Zone Funds, which collectively seek to invest more than $1 billion into these communities. Arctaris today is the largest impact-focused manager of Opportunity Zones nationally. Jonathan was previously a Managing Director, Operating Partner and member of the Investment Committee at a Boston-based fund manager, specializing in direct loans and private equity investments to lower-middle market companies and working with management teams to develop growth or turnaround strategies. Prior thereto, Jonathan was with Fidelity Ventures and IBM. He has invested and worked closely with portfolio companies in the manufacturing, technology, and services industries to achieve their growth objectives, including Xoom (IPO), Capterra (acquired by Gartner), Verid (acquired by EMC), QuoteShip (acquired by ICGE), Moguldom Media (acquired by InteractiveOne), and also Vodium.com (acquired by Vcall.com), a multimedia software company that he co-founded. Jonathan has published articles on corporate finance, derivatives and risk management in Bloomberg News, Bloomberg Magazine, International Herald Tribune, and the New York Times. Jonathan holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Georgetown University, where he was a member of the Crew Team. He is an active volunteer for HBS and Phillips Academy Andover.


Tod Trabocco
Organization: Marathon Asset Management


Tod Trabocco is currently a Managing Director at Marathon Asset Management, serving as a product strategist in the firm's private credit asset management business. Mr. Trabocco has worked in the alternative asset management industry since 2005, gaining experience as an investor and limited partner relations professional. He was previously a Product Specialist for ITE Management, an investment manager specializing in niche transportation real assets. Prior to joining ITE he led private credit manager research and selection globally for Cambridge Associates. Before transitioning to the limited partner side of alternative asset management with Cambridge, Mr. Trabocco worked at Kayne Anderson Mezzanine Partners and led underwriting and served in the investment committee for one of the first private credit/direct lenders, LBC Credit Partners (sold to CIFC in 2021). Prior to entering the alternative investment management industry he worked with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Allianz and Moody’s Investors Service. Mr. Trabocco also serves as an advisor to Pennington Partners, (a multi-family office based in Bethesda, Maryland where he also sits on the investment committee), Star Mountain Capital, Jensen Partners and Blantyre Capital. Mr. Trabocco/Tod holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a MALD from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and is a CFA Charterholder.
